The "Batekmila-Basque Worlds" exhibition in San-Sebastian

What does it mean to be Basque today?

This is the question raised by this exhibition which invites visitors to discover and explore the lives and experiences of Basques. A sensory journey into the heart of a sound and visual universe, a kaleidoscope of accounts by contemporary artists, photographers, writers, musicians, directors, etc.

The exhibition's first presentation in Bayonne was a real success.

There are two reasons for this. The exhibition questions modern Basque identity and culture, using both innovative scenography and technology. It is also available in four languages (Basque, French, English and Spanish), making it accessible to as wide an audience as possible.

"Batekmila-Basque Worlds" will be presented at San Sebastian's Koldo Mitxelena Centre from 19 September to 17 November. Opening times: 10:30 am to 2 pm and from 4 to 8:30 pm, from tuesday to sunday. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Free entrance.
